This has obviously been discussed on here before but I cant run it down. i WAS going to replace the brakes on my 180 myself until Santa dropped my lump of coal from the sleigh and hit my head and put me out of commission. I know the job comes with uncertainties , but can somebody give me an idea OF the range of labor costs involved that i might expect

Here's a 5 year old topic that may shed some light:

Need some serious block cribbing, remove the rear wheel assemblies, remove the axle tubes and then can start the Brake Job.

When I was much younger, I would flat rate both sides at 8 hrs. Torch work was extra as was a cab or roll bar.

Changing the brakes can be done pretty quick. All the time comes from removing and reinstalling the axle and wheel. I have done several in recent years, so I am getting better at it.
