Just curious if anyone has consecutive number tractors? Especially D17's. Always thought it would be neat to have 2 consecutive number tractors

If I remember correctly, when we featured the 17s at the GOTO in 2024, there were around 50 17s . Had a couple about 4 or 5 numbers apart but that was as close as it got. Was a lot of 17s produced so chances are someone might have a pair. Did have one at Pinkneyville that was 15 from the last.

Not AC but Cockshutt. Saw these 10 years ago at the Waverly Nebraska tractor show. Two Oliver collectors had a lead on one rare cockshutt in Canada. Both went to get it, seller asks if they want another one! Said they were delivered the same day. Sure enough consecutive serial numbers!

aguy north of me had two john deere b that were consecutive numbers hate say he wanted so much for them they just sat and the kids sent them to the shreader

I saw a CA that was a consecutive number to one that I have. It was within 150 miles of my place. Several years ago I went to a show in Ottawa Kansas and an elderly gentleman had two consecutive numbered WD's. He said he went to Alabama for one of them because of the consecutive number. It was pretty cool that he had them and he was proud of it. They were both beautifully restored. I often have wondered if he was still alive and the tractors were still together.

Not the tractor itself but a neighbor that I farmed with had a seriesIII 190XT that had the hydraulic pump consecutive to mine. It was the 190XT that I have that has the 200 torque tube so no way to know what the serial number was. The person I bought mine from had bought it in the midwest and hauled it out to Washington, I don't know the history on the neighbors tractor other than he bought it local.

I have two consecutive serial numbered CA's. They are 1955 models, serial #34015 and #34016. I had them on display at the 2023 GOTO in Madrid NY. I bought them 10 years apart and had no idea what I had at the time. One day I read on here about someone having a tractor stolen so I thought I should start writing serial #'s down. When I wrote down the second CA's number I realized it looked familiar. I had to go back to the first one and make sure I didn't make a mistake and sure enough they were consecutive. Now anytime I see a CA for sale I always check the serial number to see if I can get lucky enough to find a third one. Don Jr.

Used to own a set of 220’s but sold them. One is in Iowa and one in Nebraska. Yes they got split up

On Facebook marketplace their is a guy trying to sell two 440 with consecutive serial numbers. It's listed in arrowsmith illinois. Sorry not sure how to post a link.

I know that he doesn’t own it anymore…but Darryl Krause had a RC that was consecutive (one # after) Dad’s RC. I saw his RC at the Lyndon, WA GOTO & wrote down his number, because it looked familiar.

Do you have number stamps. Awhile back there were a couple fellows from down south somewhere that could find any tractor with any serial number you wanted. I know for a fact that they sold a few highly improbable serial numbers. Written documentation from multiple sources could prove at least one of them to be bogus, that tractor came to Virginia and after the estate sale, I don't know where it went.

I have a friend in central Missouri who owns a D12 and his dad owns the consecutive number to it. I think they were both shipped to a former dealer in St James , MO.

I got to looking back at some of dad‘s 7080s he had. He had serial number 1070 and 1080. 2101 and 2102. 3294 and 3296. And last was 3923. That’s the one I would like to find.

My Model C that I call "Mr. Cato's Tractor" has no serial number, and I do know where to look for it. Were I an unscrupulous fellow I could make it be whatever I wanted  Maybe I should stamp Mr. Cato's name on it!

This is a little off subject, but I have a D-12 to restore for a customer that is serial no. 1001 with a damaged torque tube. we have to repair the tube because of the number, will be interesting repair. Have already restored D-10 ser. no. 1001 for him.
