Thursday_01-January-2026 The Cyrus Grider Barn East side of US Hwy 127 - North of The Creamy Whip US Hwy 127__Mile Marker #14.24 If you look closely, that Cardinal is created from quilt top pieces. A sharp eye will have noticed that we have left the 37th Parallel and are now in the Northern edge of the 36th Parallel; in fact, from the barn roof ridge cap to the Southern boundary of the 37th Parallel is only 40-yards. 36°59'58.77" North Parallel - 85° 4'18.22" West Meridian 1,007' Above Sea Level Photo taken through the glass of a moving vehicle. Saturday_25-July-2026 As Seen on Elkhorn Road Gambrel Roof Barn w\Elevator The Black Barn located between the Gambrel Barn and the Red Barn, shown collapsed and on the ground in this July-2026 photo, is standing in the August-2025 Satellite View The Red Barn, farthest away, May-2024 Street View shows the North third of the roof entirely gone, trusses and all, and scattered around; August-2025 Satellite View shows this to have been repaired. Saturday_25-July-2026 As Seen on Smith Ridge Road Arched Roof Prairie Barn Often erroneously called a "Dutch Barn" even by those who should know better. This barn is on the South\West side of Smith Ridge Road - KY372 at Mile #1.75 Taylor County - Kentucky 37°18'47.92" North Parallel - 85°18'46.01" West Meridian 873' Above Sea Level Photo taken through the glass of a moving vehicle.

Saturday_25-July-2026 As Seen from KY55 Bypass A Harvestore and a Silo Dominate the Landscape These silos are on the West side of the new KY Hwy 55 Bypass at Mile #13.75(42) 37°21'47.79" North Parallel - 85°17'47.56" West Meridian 943' Above Sea Level Looks can be deceiving. In the above shot, the Camera is Northbound on the new KY55 Bypass at mile 12.94. The black Barn is 0.30-mile at 357° from the Camera at: 37°21'24.11" North Parallel - 85°17'45.98" West Meridian 898' Above Sea Level The Harvestore is 0.75-mile at 357° from the Camera. The Harvestore and it's Silo mate are 0.45-mile beyond the Barn; Reid's Chapel Road\KY1799 lies between the Barn and the Silos. You probably already know this; a standard silo unloads/feeds off the top; so, last silage in is first silage out; a Harvestore unloads/feeds off the bottom; so, first in is first out, which is a huge advantage. Taylor County - Kentucky Photos taken through the glass of a moving vehicle. Same Harvestore and Silo as seen from Reid's Chapel Road at the North End of the Airport Runway |

Saturday_25-July-2026 As Seen on Airport Road Taylor County Stockyards In the 1970s/80s/90s I practically lived in this place; hardly a day passed that I wasn't on that property at least once and I spent many nights there sorting, working, penning, and loading cattle in big trucks that go cshhh. On the West side of KY1799-Airport Road on the South side of the RxR Tracks Campbellsville - Taylor County - Kentucky 37°21'14.01" North Parallel - 85°19'14.07" West Meridian 863' Above Sea Level Photos taken through the glass of a moving vehicle.

Saturday_25-July-2026 As Seen from Airport Road Roberts Road Silos On the South side of Roberts Road, at the Southern terminus of Airport Road These first two photos = 325-yards from camera to silo. I have hauled cattle in and out of this barn numerous times; the Barn is 176' Long. NOTE: This is the un-edited "BEFORE" version of the following photo; shown here to exibit the difficulties of shooting from inside a vehicle. This is the finished version of the "BEFORE" photo. No "AI" was used to accomplish this; I abhor "AI". Campbellsville - Taylor County - Kentucky 37°20'48.74" North Parallel - 85°18'33.85" West Meridian 904' Above Sea Level Photos taken through the glass of a moving vehicle.

Saturday_25-July-2026 As Seen on Myers Road Myers Road Barns On the East side of Myers Road just North of the "S" curve. 3/4-mile long Myers Road runs North/South and connects with Reid's Chapel Road at the North end of the airport runway and Roberts Road to the South. These two barns are in the same field as the silo in the previous photos; they are the only two agricultural barns left on Myers Road. Campbellsville - Taylor County - Kentucky 37°21'14.98" North Parallel - 85°18'5.51" West Meridian 900' Above Sea Level Photo taken through the glass of a moving vehicle; please forgive the reflections and glare; this is the only picture I have of these two barns.
