The temp gauge needle went straight up and will not come down. I put on a new sending unit and still, it is at high noon. I also lost the rear work lights. Where is a good place to start checking for trouble.

If the fuel gauge works, I'd guess it is the temp gauge itself. Would have to test wiring on the backside of the gauge to verify. Lights could be fuse or breaker depending on tractors age. Use Owners manual to see which style it has.

I'm no help for the temp gauge. Have you replaced the light switch? not sure if that would be your problem tho,,,
I had some kind lighting issues with my 8010, there is an updated light switch/turn signal..

other than that,, well,, get a test light and start looking...corroded, dirty connecters can cause problems,  burned out bulbs??

If you unplug the temp sensor the gauge should peg one way then if you ground the wire it should peg the other way. Way to see if your gauge and wiring is ok. But if get nothing then have to figure out wire or gauge
