Possibly going to look for a 65 to 75 HP tractor, must have live pto and power steering.  So what model would you suggest?  Also this will NOT be a loader tractor and don't need front wheel assist either   Mark

Price range will be a big factor in what you get. 170 would make a nice tractor so would a 6000 series as Michael said but there is quite a bit of price difference between the two.

Great to see you still shopping, do you want a diesel?  Are you talking AC or any model?  No suggestions until I know more.. Good luck in your search.  Jim

Mark, it might be a bit on the big end of what you are looking for, but there is a 190XT S3 at the Bobcat dealer in Bemidji. They want $7800 for it. 5787 hours on the tach. Decent rubber, newer style flat front Allis cab. Looks pretty clean overall. Has a loader on it, but you could always take it off. Been there since last summer so they might be willing to deal. I have pictures if you want to have a look.
Cheers,
Creek

Mark, 185 is handy tractor, 75 hp, diesel only. live power like on your 45, with the power directer, foot clutch stops everything, I really like mine but not the handiest for bushhogging around the yard with a lot of forward and backup work, is great on forward but kind of a pain when you need too do a lot of shifting,  good luck,  Jim
My 185 has 540 and 1000 pto with the hyd engagement clutch, that does help some.

I have a 7000 maroon belly just east of you and then you would have true live power.

Budget? A 7000 would be a dream, but it's not a small tractor. I'd love a 7000 as a companion to our 2-105, but I think it may be too large for smaller jobs.

Do you want a gas or diesel engine?
