| Possibly going to look for a 65 to 75 HP tractor, must have live pto and power steering. So what model would you suggest? Also this will NOT be a loader tractor and don't need front wheel assist either Mark |

My favorite would be either a 6060 or 6080 Easy on fuel Reliable ------------- WD WD45 DIESEL D 14 D-15 SERIES 2 190XT TERRA TIGER ac allcrop 60 GLEANER F 6060 7040.and attachments for all Proud to be an active farmer |

Price range will be a big factor in what you get. 170 would make a nice tractor so would a 6000 series as Michael said but there is quite a bit of price difference between the two. ------------- 59 D17 gas nf, 66 XT 190, 69 220. |

Mark, it might be a bit on the big end of what you are looking for, but there is a 190XT S3 at the Bobcat dealer in Bemidji. They want $7800 for it. 5787 hours on the tach. Decent rubber, newer style flat front Allis cab. Looks pretty clean overall. Has a loader on it, but you could always take it off. Been there since last summer so they might be willing to deal. Mark, 185 is handy tractor, 75 hp, diesel only. live power like on your 45, with the power directer, foot clutch stops everything, I really like mine but not the handiest for bushhogging around the yard with a lot of forward and backup work, is great on forward but kind of a pain when you need too do a lot of shifting, good luck, Jim

Budget? A 7000 would be a dream, but it's not a small tractor. I'd love a 7000 as a companion to our 2-105, but I think it may be too large for smaller jobs. Do you want a gas or diesel engine? |
