I am going to have a flywheel resurfaced on a WD45, what it the demension that the "step" need to be between the disk surface and where the pressure plate bolts to?

Matt, simply remind your machinest that whatever material he removes to true the face , he also needs to take a like amount from the plate mounting surface as well. If he has any experience at all, he has seen it all before. I have scanned all my manuals and could not find the exact dimension. At least your bumped up and some one who knows may reply.

I wish it were that easy, I believe the one I have has been machined incorrectly but I cant find the tolerance in any of my books.
