When I set the throttle lever on my WD to low idle and if you hit the steering wheel, or anything in that area lightly, it slides to half throttle. It has been getting worse the past few times I have used it.Now, if you set it to low idle as soon as you let go of the lever it will go to half throttle. Now I need to wire it just to keep it at low idle. What could be causing this?    Thanks

The friction blocks may be worn out or the spring behind the quadrant may be broke. Or both of these.

Is the spring under fuel tank hooked up?
RFDEERE is most likely correct.   MACK
