Guys, how do you get this darn thing back on the end of the cyl shaft? We did not take it off, found it in the cylinder when we took it apart. There is no way to get snap ring pliers on it. Thanks Much. Tom

Thanks MACK tried that but there is no way to get a pair of snap ring pliers on the ends of the ring. Cut sorta like this on the ends with no hole to put pliers into ~.

If that is the round wire type of ring, you might be able to sharpen it a bit to use flat tanged pliers.

Found a pair of retaining ring pliers used to rebuild auto tranny's, should have it on right after work tomorrow.
