Wal Mart MAXX is made by Johnson Controls.... they make most of the high quality batteries sold in the US... and are OEM for many European Car Makers.

Batteries are pain! I have had little cheap ones last real good.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() My daughters had here Kia die in the Wally parking lot. ![]() ![]() ![]() Better to use them or pull and charge if the machine will sit for months. But I don't always remember ![]() Sometimes you just have to gamble. Christmas eve and going to the inlaws in the next town over. The car needs a little jump, grab a handful of tools. Off we go drop mom and the kids off, head for the store. First one still open was chain I had never been to. But had one that was a fit, lasted a week longer than warranty. ![]() Back when Kragon Auto came to town and had a $35 Heat Beater Battery. My 75 Chevy pickup sure did eat batteries, cause that's what I put on the warranty card of all batteries. If they wanted say no or very limited warranty in anything but car or lite truck. Scratched the date on as well as the decal , and had a place for all the paperwork. The $5 or $10 bucks off on the ones dying at 3 to 5 years made them as cheap as any you could buy.

i didn't have any luck with them, one evening i needed 2 batteries, all the stores were closed cept wally world, so i bought 2 out there. yeah...they were cheaper to buy, but they didn't hold up a year. now i buy farm store batteries that have a 2 year free replacement on them, they go into things that very seldom gets used, but is ussually ready when needed, if anywhere within the 2 years...i can get new batteries free. works good for some of the trucks that sit most of the year and the camper and other vehicles.
