I am curious what is the lowest serial number recorded for the model A tractor. I know that #3 is still around but is there any with a lower #? Thanks Matt

Seems to me that #1 or 2 was found but can't remember for certain. Quite a few of the very early ones, say the first 50 are around.

I watched as #2 and #3 were sold, well not so much watching as calling my wife and my Mother to tell them I was bringing Grandpa's A home. #2 I'm pretty sure went North across the border. #3 had blocks welded on the front end to raise it up, I might have pictures, but don't know if it went with #2 or not. #1 I understood is like Toto and lives in Kansas.

I knew that Ernie had 2 of them with consecutive numbers. I might know where #2 is and I know where #3 went. So I guess the first three where abouts are known. How about #4 thru 25? I should have went to Ernie's auction. I don't know why I didn't. It wasn't like I had a job to go to then.

A buddy of mine has #7. His brother has one too, but I forget what it is.
