I celebrated it on the 11th, along with all the Vets.
Monday the celebrate it only cause all them politicos gits the day off that way.  That's the closest 95% of em get to giving service to our country.....

I always remember them on the 11/11, that is the day.  Also, not all veterans went to combat but are still honored on this day.  If you served in any branch of the military, at any time, and received an honorable discharge, you are considered a veteran.  By serving, you are providing support to any military action that may be occurring, even if you are not present in a combat zone.

Dave, I also am an optimist!!  I like that!!

John(MI) ---- YES, it's VETERAN's day....ALL who served.  Even though some were in the background, they were essential to ALL of us.

ford8nwd   -------   My deepest thanks to your Dad, your brother and YOU!!  If it were'nt for you guys, we very well might be speaking either German or Japanese today.  THANK YOU for YOUR service.

I see the respect today that is given to Vets and it brings a tear to my eye....WE weren't given that when we came home from Nam..
THANK you America for waking up.
