I am looking to paint my WD 45. Wanting to use Martin-Seynour paints, because of contacts with a NAPA store. Do any of you fellows know a good Persian #1 paint code number for Crossfire paint? I think that the paint chip they have for #1 is way off. Cry
Thanks in advance.  Fred

Fred  !!  When we  did  the  W-patrol  the  NAPA  code  was   55A- 3723 ,  My  Son  Brian  mixed  it for  me , he  has been through  the  Paint  school  in  Reno  at  least  2  times.  Son Tony &  Barb  did  the  painting.   It  is  a  dead  match  for  PO #1.

I painted mine with the 2nd paint chip. I ndon't remember what the number was. It looks really pretty. It's not that orange pumpkin color some guys tell me is persian orange#1, BUT it matches almost exactly with some of the original unfaded paint areas like inside the instrament on my 45.
I used the expensive Martin Seynour self etching primer, than their sealer, then the acrilic enamal paint. Only problem I have is that instead of stratching it chip pretty bad. The primer never chips off, only the paint. I'm not sure if the sealer doesn't stick to the primer or what happened.
