After a year long hiatus my new and improved 190XT roared to life today.  Got it back from getting rebuilt in May and finally got it to a point where I could run it.  It has a Reliance major overhaul kit with AGCO rings, Reliance valve train, brand new turbo from A&I, a couple of thousand spent on head work and welding/grinding on the crank shaft, rebuilt Roosa Master pump set 10% over stock and new injector tips.

You didn't hear it before.  Needed ether to start, it sounded poor and only mustered 77 hp on the dyno before.  Sounds pretty good now, don't you think?

Here is the temporary set up.  Crude but effective.  Next big task is pulling the wheel centers to change the axle seals.  I'd like to have it all finished and together to do some cultivating in the spring, and put it back on the dyno at next summer's show.

Looks like you've been working since I was there.  It's a good feeling when they run again.

Thanks Fred, it's not finished yet.  There is still lots to do.  It all takes time.  Being laid off for 6 months earlier this year is the only reason the tractor is this far along.  I don't have as much free time now that I am back at work.

Kind of a trade off, less time, more money.
