    Posted: 09 Mar 2014 at 10:12pm
I have a WD block with a set of M&W pistons in it, just took the head off, it ran great but had a little extra knock in the bottom end. I am looking to sell complete block with pistons in it. What is it worth, I dont know really what a fair price would be and if anyone is intersted. If I cant get a fair price for them I am putting the pistons and sleeves in a tractor that needs overhauled. Thanks

The compression height of those pistons is right near 2.94".  Meaning that's the distance from the center of the wrist pin to the top of the piston.

Your deck height of the block is 12.625", rod length center to center is 7.5".

Look at the piston tops. if you see the arrow cast in them, they are not trimmed off.  With a 4.5" stroke crank they would be sticking up out the top of the sleeve.

With a 4" stroke crank you would be about .185" down in the bore yet.

Has to be a WD crank, not trimmed and slightly below the top of the sleeve. Thanks

M & W pistons have always been 4 1/8" bore on an A-C.
