Does anyone know what happened to the 8000 series advertisements that were on Youtube?  I can't find them there anymore?  There were 6000 series ads as well.

I just looked up the original poster of the videos and both the 8000 series and the 6000 series videos have been deleted. Don't know why?

It's a conspiracy by AGCO, they don't want you to see orange commercials anymore.  Wink

The one titled OK to ship was really neat.  It made me proud to have an 8050 all over again!

The "Okay To Ship" video is still up, but the others are gone.

First time I have seen that video. Very nice - I owned an new 8010 for 6 months in 1984 traded it for 8030 - both had fwd - the 8010 was underpowered
Kept the 8030 for 16 years and had very few problems. Also owned a new 7000 from 1976 to 1982 - traded this tractor for 7010 . The 7010 was a much heavier and better tractor with the power shift transmission and diff lock.
While owning the 7000 only replaced the altenator - still had original batteries when traded.

I think if I had an 8010 I'd boost the power up to at least what a 7020 put out if I could without having cooling problems. WD45, did the 7010 also seem underpowered?

Our dealer tried boosting the power on the 8010 but it was just under powered . Also had 20:8x38 on rear. The dealer installed 18:4x38 and this helped.
Our 7010 had similar power to the 8030. It would run circles around the 7000 but the 7010 had 20:8x38 while 7000 had 18:4x38. On a wet fall the 7000 one had to drop a bottom off the 2000 - 5 bottom plow while the 7010 would handle the 5x18 in corn stocks.
