NEW TO FORUMS, MY TRACTOR IS AN ALLIS CHALMERS MDL FP60-24-2PS SERIAL# 64917 TYPE G. WOULD LIKE TO KNOW MAKE AND SIZE OF MOTOR, AND THE YEAR IT WAS MADE, IF POSSIBLE. HAVE HAD FOR ABOUT SEVEN YEARS, IT HA SBEEN A STRONG WORK HORSE, DISTRUIBUTOR SHAFT IS WOBBLING AND MAKING IDLE ROUGH, OTHER THAN TWO FRONT TIRES BEEN A GREAT VEHICLE.

Probably an AC G230... also used in combines.... look  toward the bottom of this post.

If you don't want to rebuild or replace the distributor just buy a Pertronix Electronic ignition kit. This will give you undisturbed spark at idle. I did this to one unit with the same problem - instantly fixed!
Currently- WD,WC,3WF's,2 D14's B. Previously- I 600,TL745,200,FL9,FR12,H3,816 LBH. Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal!
