I recently acquired an Allis Chalmers grader. It has a diesel engine. It has sat for a while. Diesel tank was empty. I have diesel to the injector pump, but can’t seem to get the pump primed. I have the lines cracked open to bleed but no luck yet. Cranked on it for a while. Any tricks? Maybe pump needs rebuilt?

The shaft in the pump is most likely sheared off, those pumps would stick while sitting and then when the motor was turned over it shear the drive off.Unfortunately the parts are extremely hard to find
