Please don't roast me on this. At some point, I'd like to put a corner exhaust on the 7020, if I can make it look good. I'd really like to keep it looking sleek and not patched together. Has anyone given it any thought before, as to how you would run a pipe up the cab and neatly run from that pipe to the turbo? There's a 7080 with a Cummins swap that I don't mind the look of, but something that follows the contour of the cab a little better would be nice. If I can't find a sleek way of doing it, I'll likely just go with straight pipe. Can't stand that extra fat muffler taking up half of the forward view.

Just put a 3in straight pipe in place of the "fat" muffler.

Joe...I've seen different 7000 series tractors with that type of pipe mount, but never investigated them. like Jordan says, put a straight pipe on, or can do like I did on my 7010, I put a straight pipe on with a curve on top, but it only sticks up above the hood about a foot. it's not noisy in the cab at all. and it doesn't grab tree limbs! and the visability is better too!

And they do make long small mufflers that are quiet that could be fitted like you're talking about in a muffler shop.
