We offer an Alternator brkt kit for the B,C,CA Tractors. With a little bit of a modification to just the upper bracket, it will fit D10-D14. Check out our website for a picture under "Alternator & Generator Mounting".

Best adjustor bracket, I ever made was from a 327 corvette.  Mostly, I just turn the genny bracket around backwards, and do some surgery to the bottom end of a 10SI alternator housing.  That way iff'n anybody ever wants to make a trailer queen outta my field workers, the bracket is still there, with no mods to it...

Don't do like I did, I kind of got taken behind the woodshed on mine. The alternator on my D10 was bad, so I called an alternator shop about fixing it. I also asked if they had any brackets that looked better than the home made one on it. He said sure he had some, might need a little modification. I said, "ok good", so I took it to him. Long story short, he didn't have a bracket, he built one, and charged me labor for it. I had no choice at that time but to pay him, but I wasn't happy. He did an ok job, but on closer inspection I noticed something familiar. He used part of my old bracket to make the new one.

I suggest you build your own. I wish I had, it wouldn't be that difficult. The alternator bracket on my B came from Stieners, it's simple and works pretty well. I believe it could be used on the D10 as well.

This is what I've built and used. I've also sold quit a few. This will allow the large alternator to fit behind the drag link on C & CA tractors.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY
