My guess is that the tractor ran fine, all systems OK. but the owner wants to put on a nice paint job on it and park it in the living room as a fancy coffee table in one of those big log homes! So that's where Don comes in! Fix all the leaks and have it ready for show time!
Regards,
 Chris

I just came in the house for a cup of joe, If I tell you guys just what I'm up-to, well let's just say it's a fun list of jobs on the old D14.I will say my plain is to try my best to stop all the leaks on the tractor. It run fine when she came in the door just marked it's spot. It will get a new coat of paint after I stop-up the leaks and fix some stuff inside too.Wink

My guess is replacing the pto drive gears or installing a shuttle clutch?

Years ago someone wanted told me A-C should have changed their name to "Snap Ring".  After being inside a D series torque tube I know why! lol

I'm stopping all the leaks I hope, lol and on this tractor that means most of the gaskets and seals, front to back and top to bottom.

You don't need to do all that work. You just need Flex Seal and Flex Shot. I saw it on TV. It is rubber in a can. Just spray it on and in minutes you can drive across your local lake or river.
