My 7010 PD won't go in to low range. Just stays in neutral. Sometimes by shifting a bunch between High and Low, it will finally catch.
Is this a cable problem, and is there an adjustment? Thanks,
Roscoe. |

Probably the small side-shift cable is stiff/sticking. Adjust all you want, but replace the cable first.

I don't have a parts book for this. Can I find the part number on-line somewhere? Thanks, Roscoe

That did it! By the small side cable, I assume that is the one on the bottom of the shifter?

I ended up cutting a hole in the floor plate and installed a shift lever for my 7010.
