I have a 64 series four gas. And I don't think it's the original motor. The serial number on mine is 17-53685-M and I was wondering if you guys would mind getting me your engine serial ## no hurry but any help will be appreciated to find out the year on my motor. Or if someone has a web site that has the ser#s on it. Thanks.

Oh and here is the crank off of mine. I'd like to find the people who owned it before me.

Was your crank pulley rattling and making noise? I think your crank is shot unless someone can fix it?

We had a WC crank with the same problem fixed by a machine shop in Shelbyville, IL .  If the crank is good otherwise it might be worth checking into getting it fixed.

That nose on the crank can be fixed with a good epoxy. I fixed a flywheel on the back shaft of a 2,500 ton forged press with a Moglice product for static fit. Just takes lining up the pulley and filling the void.
