the shift cable broke on our 8070 what is the best way to get at where it hook up to the trans under the cab. Is there a acsess panal under the seat? also any other tips would be great thanks ben~!

Yes, take seat out, remove floor mat and access panel under seat.  Easy to do.  Make sure you have ends adjusted correctly so it shifts easily before covering everything up again.

i don't know about the 8070 but some earlyer modules the entire cab could lift off and and you could get to it. with your type i don't know i hope you get it fixed

Could be the cable anchor. Much easer on 80 series than 70 series.  MACK
