I have a 190XT snap coupler. It had a 3pt conversion on it, the full system with torsion bar and everything. With that system on the arms would raise and lower properly. Since I've taken it off it only raises.
I know I have a full adjustment coming for me. But I don't have time, and it's cold as all bologna right now. Is there one quick adjustment I can make so the arms will at least lower by themselves, so I can get my equipment hooked up?

Snap-Coupler lift arms will NOT lower by themselves on that tractor. Why?? Because there's back pressure in the hydraulic system and the colder the oil the more back pressure there is. The back pressure makes it's way to those lift cylinders and they go up. That's the way it is and has been since the tractor was built. Shut the engine off to get the arms down while standing on them.
