Hi all,
I've got a C with a rockshaft. I would like to get a 3pt kit from Tony or OKTractor, but before I do I have one question that I was hoping someone on here can answer: Can I leave my rockshaft on my C and still get the 3pt arms to raise fully without hitting the point on the rockshaft where the hydraulic cylinder mounts to it? I'm hoping that if I tie off the rockshaft fully raised I'll have sufficient clearance. I have a Kub Klipper (Sun Master) finish mower that uses the cultivator arms attached to my rockshaft. If I take the rockshaft off I'll have no way of raising/lowering the mower deck. For the record, I do realize that I'll have to take the PTO pulley wheel off of my PTO to hook up the 3pt cylinder. Thanks for the email Jim!
For anyone wondering, Jim's answer is "It's close, but I am going to bet that it will have to be removed."
