Just curious, does anyone on the forum here own a complete lineup of the D-series of Allis's? Show us a pic if you do. Would love to see it.

Sweet, you should be able to find a D17 series 3 fairly easy. Don't know about the D10.

We have at least one of each model but do not have all of the different series. I do not have a picture of all of them either.

Charlie, I do NOT need a D-272. I'm strictly a West Allis guy. If it didn't get built there, I'm not interested. British A-C's will have gotten cheaper since I've always thought they should be bought and sold by the pound.

Those are some nice looking tractors. I just have two a d17 serries 1 and a d15 that is I guess serries 1.5 I think it is mostly serries 2 now built out of two tractors.
Just wanted to say thanks for the photos nice to see them and nice to see other tractors that clearly work not just collection tractors. I know I get alot of comments about how nice it is to see the old tractors still out working the fields. |

My early on mission in the Allis collecting hobby, was to have one of each of the D series (just one of each number, not each variation). Got most, but no D10 or D12, but 3 17's. Seems I deviated slightly (a lot) from the original mission, and have more non D series tractors than I do D series. I still love them D series, though. Sorry, have no pictures right now. Darrel

A complete D series would involve a lot of tractors. You have diesel, gas, propane. Wide front narrow front and single front. Series 1/2/3 of various tractors. High crops. But if you just mean a 10/12/14/15/17/19/21. I am sure there are a lot of people that have that. I had that at one time, and decided as they are getting less and less valuable by the day, as the tractor collectors get older. It was time for them to go.

The duel air breathers on the D21 are joined together under the hood to one air cleaner. The D15 in the picture is our series I diesel.

I thought of that it is in Norms book. I think there is something like 50 tractors in the photo with all the different options and that was all for one production year as I recall.

look on our facebook page B&G Equipment Paris Tn. We posted it - a customer brought it in and we took a photo of it. 1960 Farmer magazine. In it was an article about soil compaction - the biggest threat to Ag due to big tractors.!! https://www.facebook.com/bgequipmentinc/?ref=aymt_homepage_panel
