Finally picked up some books I bought off CL. My buddy John L. (john (MI) picked them up & held onto them until I could get over to his side of the state to get them. Would have missed out had it not been for his help. Thanks again John!
Didn't realize what all I was getting. Seller said they were just some WD manuals & Allis Chalmers books. Very glad I took the gamble.

This is one of them I was really happy to get. Complete with hand written notes on part number changes.

Yes, the Norm Swinford book is the best of the lot!
Next, I would have to say the parts book.  GREAT find and the Allis-Express comes through again!  That is great.

Congratulations!!
Quite a find.  EVERY book has good value plus the pencil drawing.
Good Luck!  Although I think you used a good portion of it on this find.

Your welcome Ray, glad I could help out!  Good seeing you, and talking again.  I wish I'd known that drawing was in there, I would have scanned it.  I'd still like a copy if you can scan it and email it to me.  Thanks, John

I'll have to look in my book to see if there is one.  I bought my book straight from Norm and he signed it for me.

If I remember correctly there was a very limited number of those sketches, maybe 500? Can't remember for sure but I know when I ordered the book and it finally showed up I was thrilled that I was lucky enough to get one of those drawings.

Great find, congrats. I was always going to buy the swinford book years ago I think they were $30-$40 but would talk myself out of buying one, thought that was too much for a book "stupid", so last year I decided I was going to buy one no matter what and was able to get one off eBay for $85, but like mentioned earlier amazon has them priced way up there and I've seen a few sell on eBay since then for over $100.
