Picking up a gas 262 and was wondering would it fit in a wd45 with 230?
if farming was easy everybody would be doing it

Somebody put a 301 Turbo in a 45 so I guess it comes down to how much work your willing to do.

 Peice o' cake ..... If you have the WD45D adapter plate, flywheel and starter.... those are the biggies but you also need the  WD45D radiator, and unless your 262 came out of a D19, you will want the D19 governor and the D19 carb, the Zenith combine version is much larger , but there was a reason the tractors used a Marvel-Schebler.  Tractors Don't run wide open continuously.
 I have one in an unstyled WC, and that presented a little more challenge.

I have the 45D adapter plate/flywheel and starter when your ready to proceed.
