Here are some pictures of my recently acquired two-bar spring-tooth harrow. It is shown on Page 237 of Swinford's book under the Oxnard tool carrier section. I need one of the shanks if anyone has an extra. Thanks.

Boy, that is unique. I'd like one of those. Have you tried it out yet?

I got this thing about two weeks ago and got it attached to the tool-bar last week so it has not been used. Here's hoping that it will work like a Danish harrow that are used a lot around here to work down fall plowing. |

Are you sure yours isn't the one in the book? Until tonight, the one in the book is the only one I have ever seen. That has got to be rare. Great find.

Hello Farrell - a wonderfull looking tillage tool Farrell. I have never seen one of these before. Dad had a 15 tooth "C" shank Allis s/c cultivator that we pulled behind the WD.
I could cultivate 5 acres an hour running wide open (curved gear shift) in 3 rd gear 5 mph on 12x28 tires and thought this was wonderfull since this cultivator was great improvement over the 1942 - 17 tooth Chochutt cultivator dad had. Now we run a 43 ft SunFlower finisher behind a Case/Int 535 and there is no end to the power this 15 liter engine has and one can go 7 or 8 mph.
