Easy if you don't mind some oil in your face. Remove draw bar, drain oil , remove plate under PTO Housing, remove pin and nut from inner shaft then remove it, remove bolts behind outer shaft flange, and be ready to catch gears when outer shaft comes out.         MACK

I highly recommend draining the oil, and dropping the cover the night before and let it drip. Won't keep all the oil off of you, but will help to keep it to a minimum.
