What seat did the 200's have on them the 3 piece seat or the black seat with the flip up arms. Where the best place to get one.

How much do you want to spend. A fellow forum member tipped me off to a seat that's made for logging equipment and is almost identical to the original

They have a lot of nice seats that are a lot like the original, but not quite...

IF memory is good today; the early black seats are the ones where the arm rests attach to a stud sticking out each side of the back rest. Later seats have a bracket for the arm rests that bolts (using 2 of 5/16" bolts) to the irons coming up to hold back rest.
Arm rests are the same for both seats. AGCO has them in the Heritage Parts catalog.
Backs n seats are available thru most ( several on this site) vendors dealing in seats. If you need to redo the suspension DJ's has most of what you need, have the lever/arm now, also the pins and bushings, the 4 plastic wheels for the slide are getting hard to find.

Dansig1,

Serco Loaders, a supplier of forestry industry equipment, uses the seats on their loaders. Their dealers carry replacement seats. Check the Internet for your nearest dealer for availability/price. I purchased a seat for my 1975 185 several years ago. As far as I'm concerned, the seat is an exact match to the factory issue from Allis Chalmers in appearance, quality, dimensions and comfort etc. Milsco (Milwaukee Seat Co) supplies the seat to Serco, and AC back in the mid/late 1970's.

Pictures, discussion, more information etc are available in an earlier thread started by Forum Member MikeZ on April 21, 2017, title Seat in 200

Good luck with your project

I just got an email from DJ's and they have this seat. I'm sure it's not the same as original, but that's what the are listing for it.

Thanks for the replies! Now I am wondering if a 200 seat will bolt onto a 190xt suspension or do I need to get the 200 suspension? Will the 200 suspension bolt to the 190xt fuel tank?

Dansig1

From the online AGCO Parts Book the 190 (page 192) and 200 (page 132) have common seat assembly support connections to the fuel tank for older serial number tractors (part no 70241895 - seat support).  Later serial no 200 tractors (page 134) had a newer seat assembly setup.  The assembly shown on page 134 for the 200 is what is required to support the Milsco seat noted in my earlier post.

The year/serial no of your 200 should help you determine what seat will fit your tractor.

Also, based on the common part/attachment to the fuel tank for the seat assembly for the older 190/200 models noted above, there is probably a way you can mount the Milsco seat on a 190 with a few seat support/suspension components from a donor 200.

Hope this helps
