Can a guy put a starter on a b That did not come with one do you have to get a driffent flywheel or can you put one on the flywheel that is on it thanks

You would need the flywheel, clutch, and torque tube with the starter hole.  Plus the battery box and cut down tool box.  If your block isn't drilled for the generator, you'd need a battery charger a couple times a year.

What year is it my war time C had the flywheel with ring gear and starter hole in the torque tube. Just no starter generator or PTO.

39 dosent have a starter hole in the torque tube. No gen mount bosses on block no ring gear on fly wheel.

In the long run it might be more cost effective (and easier) to purchase another late model B with a starter. Then sell your hand crank only B to recover some, if not all of your expenses.
