Have a 200 with 540 PTO only and wanted to switch to 540/1000 wondering what is needed to make the switch also will the 180/185/190 lift housings with 540/1000 work.

On our 200 I was told by our AC club member Pres.
that all I have to do is take out the bolts around
the shaft and pull out the PTO and install the opposite
end into the hole and reinstall the bolts. I have never
done it, so I cannot say for sure.

Mine don't unbolt straight 540 from what I been told the gears are in the lift housing so just wondering if all I need is the lift housing and internal shaft or if there's gears up inside to.
