I found a new unused shaft radio/cassette with 5" speakers on ebay ,itsa sparkomatic, works ok but not as good as a pioneer of 80's vintage. I still had to make some adjustments to get it to fit, speaker holes really not quite big enough for the 5", original AM/FM hole had to be modified...
it really sucks that ya hafta take the cab roof off to work on the radio
I also lubed the heater control cable and valve, it works really good now, blew all the dirt and crap out of the cores, Don't forget to clean/blow out the AC drain lines

That's what I was afraid of, if I have to cut out the counsel I'll probably just order a new stereo out of crutchfield. What did you use for roof insulation?

What sort of radio are you after? I have some original am only Allis Chalmers marked radios, also have some speakers that came with them. I was thinking of putting them on ebay, but I would probably make a deal if anyone was interested.

Nick, I got the shut off valve at local parts store, itsa just a generic heater shut off valve.. a ball valve would work also, and be nice, only 1/4 turn off/on,, but parts store didn't have one when I was there, ya can go with 1/2 or 3/8, jus get the barbs for whatever size hose, ya could hard mount the ball valve on one side..

hill, yea Marley scans lots stuff, helped me put in the cab kit today, sorry, no pics,, but sure looks nice inside now

Darrel, its hooked to a 4212 sunflower 13 shank coulter chisel now, workin it out pretty good. and whatever else I can think of to hook it up to, Great Plains grain drill, 7000 JD planter.... but eventually I'm hopin it to be my baling tractor with the NH 2000 3x4 baler...all ya'll that changed PTO to 2 speed,, well, I want to go the other way with the 1 3/4" 1000.. I gots lot of other tractors with 540,, 8010 is dual speed..

Diesel, I found some 1" foam at wally world, I would think Hobby Lobby or other such places would have foam

I got the duals mounted back on( those 20.8's really set her up nice) and cab kit installed today, tried out on the chisel,,I LIKE MY ORANGE TRACTOR,,got couple more oil leaks to fix, but that's work in progress...maybe I can get ya'll some pictures of it workin in a day or so

Michael,
Do you happen to have any pictures of the back of your compressor? I was curious as to how you eliminated the service valve manifold on the back of the compressor and couldn't zoom close enough to see the picture.
Thanks
