Could somebody tell me or send me a picture of where the spring on the linkage rod from the governor that connects to the carberator goes on my D14?  I see the hole in the rod where the spring connects to it but have no idea where to hook the other end of the spring.

Thanks!!!!

The spring goes from the hole in the rod to one of the manifold studs that are above it.

While we are on the subject. On mine the hole is too far front in the rod to connect to a manifold stud. The spring wraps around the bottom of the manifold and doesn't allow the engine to idle. Any suggestions.
Thanks Bob
