    Posted: 26 Feb 2012 at 9:15pm
I was fooling around with my paintball gun and the mechanism that punctures the c02 cartridge developed a leak.  It leaks so bad that I cannot fire the gun because the cartridge leaks out too fast.  Upon further inspection, there appears to be a waxy filler like material around the puncture device that creates an air tight seal.  This dried up and more or less ripped.

Is there a product that I can buy to replace this wax ring?  It needs to be air tight.

Can I just tighten down the cartridge holder clamping mechanism.  Will this create enough pressure to create an air tight seal.

  Any help would be appreciated.

Would be better in other section.  Search on that model and you will see it's a common problem.  It's a big reason I decided against buying it from you.  Probably not worth fixing as the repair kit is more than the piston is worth.
