I'm looking at a 9 shank disc chisel. My 7045 can pull a 7 shank Glencoe about 7 mph. I used a neighbors 9 shank brillion with 2 shanks off. I can't pull it as fast same depth. My question is does the 1500 pull easy ? I'd like to leave it 9 but if I can't pull it I want to find a 7 shank. Thanks Shawn.

In our area with our soils we pull a 7 shank min till with a 7060 and it sometimes makes her grunt pretty good. The 8070 pulls it a little better but it's fwa. I don't know if a 7045 would pull a 9 or not.
Edit: our 1500 has 4 inch twisted points. We have ran spike points before and that made it pull easier. But didn't deal with trash as well.

Depends on what size shovel is on it. Used a 9 shank with 4 inch twisted shovel with a 8070 and it knew something was back there. I wouldn't be too afraid to put it on the 7045 at my farm but it would depend on what type soil it would be working.

We have some tough ground in places. Some limestone ground and yellow clay.
