Anything is possible (except getting 97 cat converters for my F150).
There have been a few pictures here years ago.

All it takes is money .

There was one in a 'B' at the GOTO in Hickory Corners more than a few years ago.
Same guy also had a Small block Chevy in a 'G' mounted in front where the cultivators would have been. Frame was made higher to clear the engine. Owner used to build race cars.  G with a rear mounted Olds 350 at the Portland GOTO in 08. Notice my tag line!
Nothing is impossible if it is properly financed

Well you won't need any front wheel weights when you are done. I always wanted to put a 3 cylinder diesel into my farmall H but since the block is still good I would probably just go with the rebuild of my motor. I always like the look of an old flat head ford crammed into classic tractors looks more period correct of a hot rod can be correct. I did also consider upgrading my farmall to a gas in line 6. Those look really cool in small tractors to me because it is like a smaller version of the 100hp diesel tractors from the 70s and 80s.

If you want to hot rod a B, why not use something different than the small block chevy?  That's been done to everything.  Suggestions include a chevy big block, a Ford 289/351, or (my favorite in an old tractor) a Ford flathead V8.

One of the guys in our club shoehorned a Mitsubishi diesel into a Farmall H!
It's really a cute conversion, and he drives in our parades and has brought it to plow-days a coupla times!
It's a purty outfit with Clearcote on it!

I always thought that a 292 Chevy inline 6 would be a nice install in a WC or WD/WD45 chassis. I have a spare Mercruizer 140HP inline Chevy 4 cylinder that I wanted to toss in my WC some day. The ole WC is just sittin' there wit' no engine in it. Was thinking on coupling an old 3 speed or 4 speed Saginaw Tranny behind it and coupling it to the rear. Maybe after I retire, I can start that project. Can't get much of anything done right now. This working for a living crap is for the birds man! LOL!

You make retirement sound alot like farming.   Every one thinks since you don't go to a job site everyday you can take time to help them and somehow they never can come and "return" the favor by helping you. I love the times people tell me well I would have come to help if I knew when you needed help. Hello I am working on a farm alone everyday just come by anytime and there will be something you can help with.
Oh and don't get me started about money for work if I figured that out I would be very depressed.

SHAMELESS I would love to see that. I have a WW II 1930 something I think Chevy military 1.5 ton 4 wd truck that I have debated pulling the straight 6 out of and upgrading it to a Cummins that truck could really use more power. That would give me a nice running straight 6 to use for a project tractor.   I would really like to put it into a d serries to have live power when I am done. Not that my d17 is under powered just that it would be cool to salvage a different tractor without a motor.

Anyone got some info on a conversion kit?
Any conversion kit will be one you make or have made.

I want a 3 cylinder Perkins to put in my OC46 track loader but haven't found a running engine I can afford. Converting the OC46 will be WAY easier cause there is a drive shaft between the bell housing and the tranny.
