I have an F2 gleaner with a 430 corn head I use for my few ackers of corn for my cattle. While combining corn a loud clicking noise started coming out of the console and the amp gauge pegs from full charge to full discharge. It shuts the feul off with each click. The little 4 cyl diesel usually runs great. I hate electrical issues. Any ideas?

run a large like #8 jumper wire from one side of the main solenoid terminal to the other and see if it stops. Issue is key switch, loose wire from key switch to solenoid, the solenoid or the ground to the solenoid - one of the small wires.. the other small terminal on the solenoid is 12v from key switch.
When told "it's not the money,it's the principle", remember, it's always the money..

Yeah.  I'd also say loose connection somewhere. Check all grounds too.

Also check it over good for a hot wire that is grounding out if the amp gauge went to full discharge!

I would say a loose connection some where from starter to key switch or key to solenoid on console door.
The solenoid don't shut pump off, the key switch shuts both off. It will start and run without the solenoid.
Also check ground on solenoid.       MACK
