I have a book for an Allis 9a. It's similar but the 9a has a tube frame that goes up high then back down again to hook the 2 gangs together.

are there any markings on the castings? even the old ac disks had it stamped or molded in the cast iron. might be worn down and hard to see so you have to rub and look close.

Look at the spools(bearings), specifically the female half.  Usually there is a part number stamped there...Wink

looked all over could not find any numbers part or casting. looks like the bearing block is red
