I hope this forum is the right place for this tractor. I have a Deutz Allis 6250, the PTO shaft was ripped out after the draw bar pin fell out and the weight of the bush hog pulled out the shaft. I need to get inside to replace the shaft (I need to have it machined) and to get out any bits of metal that might be in there.

Has anyone ever pulled this part of their tractor apart? I have the service manual and pulled all the bolts and other parts, but I can't get the cover (don't have the manual in front of me) that sits over the PTO transmission; it's the part that also has the hydraulic arms for the three point system.

That, or does anyone know of someone knowledgeable in this tractor? Thanks so much, I can post photos if needed.

Can you post a couple pictures of the damage and the part that won't come off?
