The D-21 prototype had styling along the D Series lines. There were red spies and green and yellow spies all around. The photo was put together on Photoshop from an Allis-Chalmers movie posted by Austin Frederick. It looked to me like the D-21 was close to the specs of the production tractor.

No kidding fellas, the Allis Chalmers D21 style is great- they went to the Industrial Division for this - the 7000 series styling was out sorced to bring a different idea in - and they did- very nice style , except different - and folks of the time couldnt recognize - different

That surprises me. I grew up on a green farm and I always thought the 7000 series looked good. Heck 1/2 the reason I bought my 7000 was the nostalgia from my childhood.
