Has anyone put this 3 point on their WD/WD45? If you have, how did you attach the sway chains??? It says "use the existing drawbar support bracketry", but I cannot see how that will work as it will severely limit the range of motion. Solution?

My CA has a drawbar similar to the WD and when it is removed and the 3 point popped into the snap coupler the tubing that the chain is hooked to goes up and a piece of 3/4 rod pins it to the drawbar support brackets. Mine had a bolt through it that was bent from the action of the traction booster system and it wouldn't come off when I took the nut off it. It had to be cut off in pieces. I have a piece of 3/4 threadded rod I am going to use when I need it but that will only be for light work.

I have one on My WD45, the chains go from the mid point of the arm to the drawbar supports. the Tube with the short chains attached is supposed to pin into it. Mine did not work the chains were so short. I ran longer chains and crossed them across to the other side drawbar support and attached with a clevis. Adjust them so they are tight when the implement is all the way on the ground. when the implement is lifted it will sway some but the lifting arms will keep it mostly straight behind the tractor. It really depends on what you plan on useing on it. Draft implements will center themselfs behind the tractor if properly adjusted. A mower or snowblower will need the chains tight when lowered all the way down to stay in place. PTO equipment will require removal of the cross tube or you'll brake the PTO.

Like Dave said chains are probably too short, I added chain links and crossed like Dave. Take the center bar out if you are going to mow. You will not need it. I took a length of 5/8" all thread and washers as spacers and made a way to connect tube to drawbar supports. Works great for mowing, Would put cross brace back in for snow plowing or field work.

Those chains are too short so sounds like lengthening and crossing them is a good idea. Great help fellas...thanks bunch.
