Found a narrow (2 wheel) corn picker pedistal at my buddies farm off a D17. Will it work on my 45 diesel? It would be nice to pull the wide front and use this. It's just the pedistal that swaps on wide fronts. No bolster. His are stuck so it needs some love...value?

Well here's the bad news, the D17 front pedestal with not fit on the WD45 four bolt front bolster. You will need to find one for a WD/WD45 three or four bolt bolster.
3 WD45's with power steering,G,D15 fork lift,D19, W-Speed Patrol, "A" Gleaner with a 330 corn head,"66" combine,roto-baler, and lots of Snap Coupler implements to make them work for their keep.

Benny, the WD-45 cron picker pedestal bolts on where the steering arm fastens for the wide front. The whole casting turns. On the D series NF the casting is stationary only the bottom only turns with the shaft. At first glance they both can look the same.

This one doesn't look like it turned but I didn't flip it over. I'll look tomorrow.
