Found a narrow (2 wheel) corn picker pedistal at my buddies farm off a D17. Will it work on my 45 diesel? It would be nice to pull the wide front and use this. It's just the pedistal that swaps on wide fronts. No bolster. His are stuck so it needs some love...value?

Well here's the bad news, the D17 front pedestal with not fit on the WD45 four bolt front bolster.You will need to find one for a WD/WD45 three or four bolt bolster.

Thanks Don. Knight, I may check on that eventually but the wife has me on a spending freeze lol. Only reason I checked on this is he was going to probably give it to me. Oh well. ...can't win them all

Benny, the WD-45 cron picker pedestal bolts on where the steering arm fastens for the wide front. The whole casting turns. On the D series NF the casting is stationary only the bottom only turns with the shaft. At first glance they both can look the same.
