    Posted: 07 May 2015 at 10:15am
Does anybody here know a good place to find a replacement copper oil pressure line with the fittings? I bought a new Allis-Chalmers oil pressure gauge but my old fitting split and I would like to get the entire replacement if possible.

Or does anybody know of an alternative oil pressure setup?  I'm working on the 55' WD45 Diesel.

Thanks!

Just bought a month ago the copper line with the fittings as a kit at our local autozone store. Had all the fittings plus a few extra sizes that were not needed. About $12. For a D17 IV.

Might take the Harley on a cross-country trip haha.

Are these lines fairly easy to bend?

You'll want to be careful if you need to bend the line around any tight radius curves. It's really easy to have the line crimp/flatten on you. Ask me how I know!

Find some round shapes about the needed curvature and bend the line around same. Or get hold of a line bending tool; the parts stores should have them.

Two things to watch when you replace/build that oil line, use steel line and bend a full 360* round loop and re-bolt the line to the air cleaner mounting bracket.
3 WD45's with power steering,G,D15 fork lift,D19, W-Speed Patrol, "A" Gleaner with a 330 corn head,"66" combine,roto-baler, and lots of Snap Coupler implements to make them work for their keep.
