I have grand dads 1949 Wd that has a Char Lynn model S 101F torque generator that was installed in the 1960s. The unit is leaking from the shaft. I was wonderering where to find the appropriate seal kit for this? I put a couple O-rings that the Ago dealer gave me but I'm not convinced thats what should be in there.

I think after a couple of hours of searching I believe i have a good eaton number 21122-00.

As a side note my dad says they paid a $100 for the power steering kit back in the early 60s.

Inflation calculator says 827 dollars. That's a good deal for the pump and generator considering that's what the generator alone costs now.

I have a book for that. I can get the char-lynn part # and you can make sure. They did cost 100.00 back then, I know because the price is written down in my parts book.

I scanned them onto my puter,,then use the "post Reply" not the "quick reply",, go to the little green tree icon at the top of the box, , a 'browse' will come up then upload pics etc...I didn't get these resized the same, that's why their different sizes....
 
I think there's picture posting info on the 'knowledge base' page
