Hi Guys-I picked up this tractor as a basket case. This are was resassembled before I got it.   I noticed the belt is not running true between the three pulleys. It appears the generator is out of location. Has anyone ran into this issue before? Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

Add some shims to shift the generator position, or its pulley position. The generator is on a bent steel bracket, slot the holes that hold it to the block, or maybe just reverse it. I had to do that mounting an alternator on one of my tractors. Slotted holes worked fine.

The pulley may be on the generator backwards.

You nailed it. It is on backwards. Thanks.

Agreed 3. Flip the pulley, you'll be good to go
