Anybody on here have any experience with an Agco Allis 5660. I am considering looking at one tomorrow at a local dealer. It is a 4 wheel drive model with loader and around 1600 hours. Will mainly be used to put hay out and smaller chores around farm. Any issues with these machines if anybody has used or has one.

Thanks

Dad has one  7000hrs now bought it new.  Had trouble with high gear fork wore completely out.  Weight of the gearshift would pull it out of 4th all the time engine governor was not set up properly from new.  Put a new clutch in it last summer (first one) because the pto cable got seized and they kept running it.  Put a couple final drives in the front end, expensive parts and the pinion shaft and coupler  as splines wear out, grease the pivot bushing daily if you use the loader a lot.  broke a couple pto output shafts, they just twist off it seems after time seems the tie rods are lighter than they need to be for a loader tractor front rims cracked out after about 5 years
